Not long ago I saw this video from ABC news where a woman was having her car stolen while she pumped gas. To try to stop the theft, she crawled up onto the hood of her car. This didn’t stop the thief as he drove out into the street with her still on the hood. It’s just a car. It can be replaced, you can’t.
