How to be Safer at the Pump
When Brian Marren of Arcadia Cognerati tells you where he thinks the most dangerous place in the world is, you listen. After all, Brian is a Marine Sniper, “done things in places”, and is an expert in human behavior pattern recognition.
So what is this dangerous environment? The gas station.
Brian piqued my interest the last time he and Greg Williams were on my show. So of course I had to follow up. Especially since so many of us frequent gas stations on a weekly basis.
Today Brian and Greg give us a realistic look at why we need to be more aware at the pump and how to respond to a threat.
Brian Marren is a decorated Marine, High Threat Protection security professional, and Subject Matter Expert on Human Behavior Pattern Recognition & Analysis. He has spent the last seventeen years conducting both real-world and training operations all over the United States, the Middle East, and both Central and East Asia.
While in the Marine Corps, Brian served as a Marine Scout/Sniper with multiple combat deployments. Brian holds a Masters of Science in Applied Psychology from the University of Southern California and a Bachelors of Science in Political Science from Arizona State University.
Greg Williams is a decorated urban law enforcement professional and a decorated, military veteran with over 30 years of combined experience and expertise. Among many, many things, Greg was the architect of the world-renowned US Marine Corps Combat Hunter program.
If you’re familiar with the term staying “left of bang” then you know Greg’s work. General James Mattis referred to Greg as a "national treasure". And let’s face it, he is.
